The system works because of people who want to give their time and see a tangible result, kids playing soccer and instilling AYSO philosophy into our youth.

· Balanced Teams - We try our very best to balance the teams because it's a better experience
· Open Registration - Open to All children between 3 and 19 years of age.
· Positive Coaching-All of our coaches are certified through the AYSO Training program
· Good Sportsmanship - The program is designed to instill good sportsmanship.
· Player Development- All players should be able to develop their soccer skills
We will be holding our Regional Board elections at our July 9, 2024 board meeting (Sur la Brea Community Room - La Casita). Every year each position is up for re-election, with the exception of Regional Commissioner. There are the Executive Positions of Treasurer, CVPA, Safety Director, Registrar, Coach Administrator and Referee Administrator that are elected. We do like to vote on all positions, however positions can also be appointed by the RC if needed. Only the Executive Members vote.

- Regional Commissioner - The Regional Commissioner (RC) – is one of the 7 required Regional Board positions as specified in the National Bylaws and Standard Regional Policies and Protocols. The Regional Commissioner (RC) is the head of the AYSO Region; having the responsibility and authority to direct the day-to-day business of the Region. - Treasurer - The AYSO volunteer position of regional treasurer is intended to keep and safeguard all of the monies of the region and to have in their possession all of the region’s cash investments, contracts, leases and any other valuable documents. - Child and Volunteer Protection Advocate - The AYSO volunteer position of child and volunteer protection advocate is intended to oversee the child and volunteer protection program in the region in accordance with the AYSO Safe Haven program. Click Here if you want to read more.

- Referee Administrator - The AYSO volunteer position of regional referee administrator is intended to implement, monitor, and maintain the AYSO National Referee Program including program delivery, staff development, communication, and coordination at the regional level.
